The Basics to Feeling Good

As a certified and experienced Law of Attraction life coach I’m constantly helping people in many ways. However, overall, one of the areas I bring up with my clients is that it’s important to always do our best to keep ourselves feeling good. This is because when we keep ourselves feeling good overall, it positively affects all areas of our lives and we are more likely to attract what we want, instead of what we don’t want.

For men, part of helping keeping ourselves feeling good is to be aware of grooming, style, and diet. This is because when we take the time to make ourselves look the best we can, dress stylishly (at least make the effort to), and eat healthfully, that all contributes in helping us to feel our best.

Let’s start with our grooming habits. Are you at least doing a basic skin care routine morning and night?

A basic skin care routine would be at a minimum to cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin. Even just doing that will make you feel good because you know you did something to help yourself look your best.

If you want to take it one step further, you could add a weekly face scrub, eye cream, and daily serum (to go under your moisturizer). If you don’t have at least a basic skin care routine in place, do yourself a favor and at least try a natural and cruelty free skin care line. It only takes a few minutes in the morning and at night, and the improved appearance is worth it!

What about your wardrobe? Do your clothes really fit you, or are they too tight or too loose? Are your clothes outdated? Maybe they looked good on you years ago, but aren’t appropriate now? If so, go out and buy a few new key pieces (jeans, t-shirts, suits) that look great on you. Not only will you look better, you’ll feel better knowing that you look your best.

When it comes to your diet, are you eating fast food, processed foods, or more healthfully oriented foods? If you can improve your diet by eating less sugar, less processed foods and more organic produce, go for it. You’ll not only being doing something positive for yourself like making yourself healthier, a good diet contributes to helping you shed a few pounds and can even improve skin tone.

As you can see, deliberately doing a few basic things can greatly improve how you feel, which in turn will have a positive effect on all areas of your life.
