The magic of the movies can often trick us into believing things are a lot cooler than they are in reality. Sure, Rocky Balboa makes winning the heavyweight title look fun, but there are better things to do than get punched by Mr. T and Ivan Drago. Likewise, spy gadgets are probably far more problematic than they are rewarding.

Nonetheless, some of the great looking products from the films do live up to expectations. Here are five that you need in your life.

A Killer Jacket

Most cool characters from the film dress incredibly well. In truth, though, the vast majority of clothing attire doesn’t bring nearly the same level of joy that the films would have you believe. Still, these super cool jackets highlight the benefits of wearing a great coat. You’ll look cool, feel confident, and stay protected from the wind and rain. In truth, this plus a great pair of shoes should always be top of the clothes wish list.

A Motorbike

Whether it’s the good guys enjoying life to the full or the bad guys trying to escape a scene, motorbikes look mega cool in films. In fact, many would argue that they are made to look more fun and practical than cars. Well, they are. Search preowned motorcycles online, and your daily driving activities will feel more enjoyable in no time. If that doesn’t motivate you, the amount of time and hassle saved from not sitting in traffic jams certainly will.

A Dog

If a dog appears in a film to the point where you know its name, there’s a good chance it will be one of the best three characters in the story. They always enhance the lives of the main people in the movie, and a real life pet can do a similar thing for you. Whether it’s a rescue dog or one from a local breeder isn’t overly important. Likewise, different people will prefer different breeds. Either way, though, there’s no doubt that a pet pooch will enhance your life greatly.

A Whiskey Stone

The coolest gadgets and items don’t always need to be expensive. When film characters have an alcoholic drink on the rocks, it always looks cool when those rocks are real stone rather than ice. This is probably one of the cheapest accessories you’ll ever buy, but the impact they bring is huge. They can be used time and time again while they take up minimal room. Or if you can’t be bothered to buy them yourself, ask a friend to get them for your birthday. Easy.

A Smart Home

Interaction with the home via talking computers has been something seen in sci-fi movies for decades. In recent years, though, this has become a genuine possibility thanks to systems like Alexa and competing products. While the tech may be limited to commands relating to entertainment, temperature and homely items, there’s no doubt it can enhance your home. It’ll also impress all visitors, from love interests to friends. That’s gotta be pretty cool.
